David versus Goliath - Young Jack tore BGSOB 1XI apart - with his accurate persistent bowling young Jack helped snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, with only 118 runs to defend, the bowlinghad to be spot on - it was; he ended up with a great return of 6 overs, 5 maidens, 3 wickets for just 1 run and it would have been 4 wickets if another batter had been honest and walked not to mention he also held his catch of Marco's bowling - Well Done Fella!!

How could I pick one from these two. Chris with 143 off 106 balls and 2-4 with ball. Slats 120 off 76 balls and 3 catches. What an effort lads, 12 points and a league record of 400-3 to go with it. What more can I say than AWESOME

The first Pigeon of the Week of the year goes to veteran Maq - the game was severely disrupted when the heavens opened and despite the dark and miserable conditions Maq stayed out in the cold and rain water-hogging what seemed like the entire War Memorial Ground in order for the game to commence as soon as the rain stopped. It worked and the 1XI went on to win the game and go top of the league - Cheers Maq for the example of commitment everyone should follow!
